ISQM1 - Ensuring Quality Management

The new quality management standard, ISQM 1, is a significant departure from the existing quality control of ISQC 1.  Each firm must be able to show that they have assessed their quality objectives, risks, and responses appropriately in implementing the System of Quality Management by the effective date of 15 December 2022.  Firms will also need to perform monitoring of that System by 15 December 2023 and annually thereafter.  

This course will cover a reminder of the requirements of the standard, consider feedback and findings from implementation reviews to date and look ahead to practical issues that firms may face in designing and implementing appropriate monitoring and remediation responses.
