Annual Audit Update and Topical Issues

Auditing is subject to continual change and requires exacting standards to be applied rigorously. This course will provide an update on the most recent changes and current issues affecting auditing in the UK and their practical implications for the planning and execution of audits.

Content is likely to include: 

• Feedback from QAD and FRC covering their recent audit monitoring findings
• Reflecting on recent ISA updates, including ISAs 240, 315 and 600
• Reviewing upcoming updates, including the Ethical Standard and ISAs 250 and 505
• Reviewing Mercia’s file review findings and comment reasons for adverse grades
• Other topical and practical issues
